The Official AIS-DSD Support Group Research Policy

 The AIS-DSD Support Group participates only in studies in which there is an officially recognized community medical consultant from our group. This qualified individual would be involved from the project’s inception, and will provide input into the goals and design of the study in order to direct researchers towards outcomes that will further understanding of patient-centered care for DSD.

NIH Administrative Suppliment

Recently, the NIH released an administrative supplement to expand existing research to focus on Sexual and Gender Minority (SGM) health. This trans-NIH effort, which involves multiple Institutes, Centers and Offices from across NIH, is intended to encourage investigation in this underrepresented, yet growing field of research. The application due date is November 30, 2015. We encourage you to take a moment to review the administrative supplement, and submit an application, if appropriate.
